Rahul Gandhi Criticizes Congress and BJP Calls for Major Political Reforms

Rahul Gandhi, the former President of the Congress Party, made significant remarks calling for major changes within the Congress Party and criticized the governance under Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Speaking at the 'Samvidhan Sammelan' organized by the 'Samriddh Bharat Foundation' in Lucknow, Gandhi admitted that Congress too had made mistakes and needed a radical transformation to better serve the nation.

Rahul Gandhi further criticized Narendra Modi, likening him to an emperor rather than a prime minister, claiming that Modi’s governance benefits only a handful of financiers. He boldly predicted that the ruling BJP would be limited to less than 180 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, and declared that Modi would not return as the Prime Minister, offering to put this prediction in writing.

Addressing power dynamics in politics, Gandhi mentioned that while many only think of acquiring power, he himself was born into it and holds no interest in power for its own sake. Instead, he described power as a tool to assist the populace, arguing that true national strength cannot be achieved if it excludes 90% of the population from sectors like employment, sports, media, judiciary, and beauty competitions. He questioned if the BJP aimed to convert only 10% of the population into a superpower, ignoring the rest.
