A key development has taken place in the Bengaluru Rameswaram Cafe blasts case. The National Investigation Agency (NI) officials arrested the accused in the blasts on Friday.
The accused were arrested with the help of Telangana Police. Abdul Mateen and Musaveer Hussain were detained in Kolkata. Officials said that the accused was nabbed with the help of Telangana, Kerala and Karnataka police. Abdul Matin from Kolkata has been identified as the mastermind in the blast case. It is stated that Matin acted as the conspirator of the blast. The investigation revealed that two other blasts were carried out along with Musaveer on the orders of Matin. After the Rameswaram Cafe blast, the accused went into hiding in Assam and Kolkata. They have created fake documents and disguised themselves and revealed what they did to the police.
The NIA, which has taken up the blast case with dignity, has carried out the operation with the cooperation of the Central Intelligence Agency, Kerala, West Bengal, Telangana and Karnataka police. It is known that at least 10 people were injured in the blast incident at Rameswaram Cafe on March 1. However, the authorities heaved a sigh of relief as there were no casualties.
