Kerala launches state-owned OTT platform🎬

The decision that CSpace will only stream films that are already released in theatres signifies that this is not a move that will harm the interests of the film industry

The present is the age of technology. Especially OTT market is super craze now. OTT market is expanding all over the world including India. However.. so far only private companies are providing these services. It is remarkable that henceforth public sector organizations will also provide OTT services. Recently Kerala Government will provide OTT services under the name of 'CSpace'. In this order.. Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan launched the Seaspace platform on Thursday. It is remarkable that it is the first public sector OTT platform in the country. Currently, OTTs are providing an opportunity to watch the content being broadcasted at half price. Producers are paid on the basis of 'pay for view'. Budding directors can crowdfund their films through Seaspace. However.. it has been decided to release only the movies released in theaters in Seaspace. It is a great thing that some of the profits from this OTT will be used for the welfare of the unemployed professionals in the film industry.
