Telangana government has taken a crucial decision. Orders have been issued increasing the number of posts in Group 1. A total of 60 posts have been increased. It is known that TSCSC has given notification for 503 posts in the past. With the approval of another 60 posts, the number has increased to 563. Telangana Sarkar has issued instructions to TSPSC to give notification for all the posts as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, the previous government decided to fill 503 posts in 19 departments in Group-1 without interviews. To this extent TSPSC decided to select the candidates through prelims and mains at that time. Arrangements were also made to this extent and the prelims written exam was conducted on June 11 last year. Around 2.32 lakh candidates appeared for this exam. However, when the affair of paper leakage came to light, there was a big uproar. The CBI has proved with evidence that many examination papers, including Group 1, were in the hands of various people before the written examination. As a result, the High Court has issued a verdict canceling Group 1 and many other examinations.
After that TSCSC conducted the Group 1 exam for the second time as per the orders of the High Court. It is known that the exam was also cancelled. It is planning to give the notification of group 1 again with the newly increased posts and conduct the exams smoothly. 📚📈
