Fire Tragedy in Rajkot Claims 33 Lives 😢


The death toll in the tragic fire incident at the Game Zone in Rajkot, Gujarat, has risen to 33 as of Sunday afternoon. The fire broke out on Saturday night, with around 70 children present at the time. The injured are being treated at AIIMS Hospital in Rajkot. The government has announced a compensation of ₹4 lakhs for the families of the deceased and ₹50,000 for the injured.

Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel and Home Minister Harsh Sanghavi visited the TRP Game Zone area to assess the situation and inquire about the cause of the fire. The CM also visited the hospital to meet the victims and instructed the medical staff to provide the best possible care. The government has formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) led by a senior police officer to investigate the incident and submit a report within 72 hours.

Meanwhile, the police have arrested Yuvraj Singh Solanki, the owner of the Game Zone, and Nitin Jain, the manager. Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his shock over the incident and conveyed his condolences to the families of the deceased. He also wished for the speedy recovery of the injured and urged the CM to take necessary actions and ensure the perpetrators are punished.
