Eenaadu Group Chairman Ramoji Rao Passes Away at 88


Ramoji Rao, the esteemed chairman of Eenaadu Group, has passed away at the age of 88. He was admitted to a hospital in Hyderabad on June 5th due to breathing difficulties. Despite receiving treatment, he took his last breath at 4:50 AM on Saturday. His body has been moved to his residence in Film City.

Ramoji Rao, born on November 16, 1936, in Pedaparupudi, Krishna district, was a trailblazer in the media industry. He founded Eenaadu newspaper on August 10, 1974, in Visakhapatnam, which soon became a household name in Telugu-speaking regions. He was also known for his significant contribution to the cinema with the 'Sitara' magazine.

Ramoji Rao was renowned for his creativity and relentless pursuit of excellence. He was not just a media mogul but also a pioneer in various fields. His ventures provided employment and opportunities to thousands of people, starting with the establishment of Margadarsi Chit Funds in 1962.

Ramoji Rao's legacy will be remembered for his innovation, dedication, and the impact he made on the media landscape.
