As the Lok Sabha elections are approaching, all the parties are completing the process of finalizing their candidates. In this order, the Congress has released the eighth list of candidates. A total of 14 names of candidates were announced in this list late on Wednesday (March 27, 2024) night. Candidates from all four states have been announced for the seats of Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana and Uttar Pradesh. Rao Yadvendra Singh from Guna seat in Madhya Pradesh has been given a chance against Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, while Congress has fielded Pratap Bhanu Sharma from Vidisha against former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. For the total 17 seats in Telangana, candidates have already been finalized in 9 seats. It is against this background that the candidates have to be finalized in Telangana only for Hyderabad, Khammam and Warangal seats.🗳️
