Currently there is a trend of idols in the country. Tallest idols are being unveiled every day. Recently, a businessman from Guwahati, Assam, Nabeen Chandrabora built the tallest bronze statue of Modi out of admiration for Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
A 190 feet tall bronze statue of the Prime Minister has been decided to be installed. The businessman performed Bhoomi Puja for this project on Monday. He will spend 200 crores for the statue of Modi. The businessman, who is setting up this statue in his own place, held the foundation laying ceremony for three days. Navinchandra said that the height of the statue including the pedestal will be 250 feet. He explained that around the neck of the statue there will be Gamosa, a Khaddar cloth worn by the people of Assam, as a symbol of Assamese culture. He said that he had also sent a letter to the Prime Minister's Office last year with the details of the installation of the statue. Naveen Chandra Bora from Guwahati is a huge fan of Prime Minister Modi.
In 2016, he received a letter of appreciation from the hands of Modi. He said that this is when the idea of erecting a huge statue for the Prime Minister came. He explained that he is erecting this statue with his own money and erecting it in his own place. He commented that he is very lucky to be setting up a statue of such a person.
