Although his last film didn't do well at the box office, Vijay is now focusing entirely on his upcoming project, VD 12, a spy thriller directed by Gautham Tinnanuri.
The Sukumar-Vijay Deverakonda Collaboration
In 2020, producer Kedar Selagamsetty announced a project with Vijay Deverakonda as the lead and Sukumar as the director. This project has been in the pipeline for several years. Recently, during the trailer launch event of "Gum Gum Ganesh," a film featuring Vijay’s brother Anand Deverakonda, the long-awaited project resurfaced.
When asked about the Sukumar-Vijay Deverakonda film, Kedar Selagamsetty confirmed that the project is still on. He stated that the film will commence after Sukumar completes "Pushpa 2" and another project with Ram Charan, tentatively titled RC 17.
