Rain Effect: Maharashtra-Telangana Transport Halted Due to Floods 🚫

Due to the raging flow of the Godavari River along the Maharashtra-Telangana border, police have closed the inter-state highway. In Telangana, Renjal police have set up heavy barricades to control the traffic flow. The Godavari is overflowing and touching the interstate flyover bridge at Kandakurti, prompting authorities to halt all transportation between the two states as a precautionary measure. 🚧 The Godavari River is flooding heavily at the Triveni Sangam in Kandakurti, Renjal Mandal of Nizamabad district.

The massive floods in Maharashtra due to heavy rainfall are causing a significant water flow toward Telangana. Additionally, the Manjeera River is also witnessing a surge in floodwaters. The flood flow from the Triveni Sangam area is becoming more dangerous by the hour at the interstate flyover. Due to the overflow, a historic Shiva temple has been submerged in the Godavari River. In light of the heavy rains, officials have warned people not to venture out unless absolutely necessary. Residents of low-lying areas have been advised to stay alert and take precautions. ⚠️
