Janasena chief and Pithapuram MLA, Konidela Pawan Kalyan, has assumed the role of Deputy Chief Minister along with holding several key ministries including Panchayati Raj, Rural Development, RWS, Environment, Science & Technology, and Forest. The ceremony took place at the Vijayawada camp office on Wednesday morning, where Pawan Kalyan began his new responsibilities with a special puja conducted by priests.
Pawan Kalyan’s brother and Janasena leader Nagababu, along with other Janasena MLAs, accompanied him during the event. After taking blessings from the priests, Pawan Kalyan signed several official documents to mark his new role.
Congratulatory messages poured in from various leaders, including Ministers Nadendla Manohar, Kandula Durgesh, MP Tangella Uday Srinivas, MLA Vamsi Krishna, and former MLA Verma. Actor and Janasena leader Prithvi Raj was also present to extend his wishes.
As Deputy CM, Pawan Kalyan will meet with IAS and IPS officers, and Group 1 and Group 2 officers to discuss plans. He will also have a meeting with Panchayati Secretary Association leaders. Later, Pawan Kalyan will head to the party office in Mangalagiri where he plans to stay overnight. From tomorrow, he will focus fully on his departmental duties and has already prepared an action plan to visit the Secretariat regularly. Pawan Kalyan aims to enhance the performance of his departments and achieve significant results.
