Hey folks! There's a scary situation in Tirumala again. Two leopards were spotted on the Alipiri walking path, causing quite a commotion. Devotees, terrified at the sight, screamed loudly, and the leopards fled back into the forest. Everyone breathed a sigh of relief, but the fear remains. Upon hearing about the leopards, security personnel were alerted immediately. TTD Vigilance staff arrived at the spot and inspected the area. Forest officials are tracking the leopards’ movements and are on high alert. Due to the leopard sightings, devotees are being sent up the hill in groups to ensure their safety. Forest officers are diligently searching for the leopards to prevent any danger to the pilgrims.
A few days ago, another leopard was spotted on the second ghat road leading to Tirumala. Early in the morning, a leopard appeared in front of a devotee's car, and the incident was captured on the car’s CCTV camera. The devotees were shocked but relieved when the leopard crossed the road and disappeared into the forest.
Previously, a tragic incident occurred where a six-year-old girl named Lakshita was attacked and killed by a leopard on the Tirumala walking path. Devotees are urging authorities to take necessary precautions to prevent any more such incidents.
