In Telangana, BRS Working President KTR has fiercely criticized the Congress government. He pointed out the stark difference between what Revanth Reddy promised during elections and his actions after becoming Chief Minister. KTR demanded answers from Revanth Reddy, who once vowed to stone MLAs defecting without resigning.
KTR reminded everyone of Revanth Reddy’s promises during the election campaign. Revanth had declared that any MLA who defected without resigning should be pelted with stones. Now, KTR questioned why Revanth Reddy is encouraging defections, welcoming BRS MLAs into Congress with open arms and party scarves.
KTR slammed Revanth Reddy on social media, accusing him of hypocrisy. He questioned if the Chief Minister's earlier promises were mere words, asking what inducements are being offered to lure MLAs. KTR's pointed questions raised a storm, highlighting the political double standards.
KTR also took a jab at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, criticizing his contradictory stance. Rahul Gandhi had previously promised to amend the 10th Schedule of the Constitution to disqualify defecting legislators. Yet, KTR accused him of encouraging defections of five BRS MLAs, calling out the inconsistency in his actions.
