It is known that the candidates are appealing to increase the maximum age limit from 46 years to 51 years for the recruitment of Group 1 posts.
The High Court has ordered the Telangana Public Service Commission (TSPSC) to consider this issue in the recruitment of posts. Srinivas Reddy of Hyderabad along with two others filed a petition in the High Court claiming that after many years the state government has taken up the process of filling up Group 1 posts, for which the state government has mentioned 46 years as the eligibility age and to give directions to increase it to 51 years. He said that the commission did not respond to the authorities despite several petitions on this issue, and that is why he approached the court. They requested the court to respond to this matter and direct the TSPSC to make changes in the notification by relaxing the maximum age. 🏛️
