Gautam Gambhir to Be the Next Head Coach of Team India?

Cricket fans are eagerly waiting to know who will be the next head coach of Team India. According to various reports, former Indian cricketer and KKR mentor Gautam Gambhir is set to take on this prestigious role. It's believed that the BCCI has agreed to all of Gambhir's terms, paving the way for him to become the next head coach. However, Gambhir has not made any official statement regarding this, nor has there been any official confirmation from the BCCI.

Recently, Gambhir made his first statement about the possibility of becoming the head coach of Team India. Speaking at an event in Dubai, Gambhir said, "There is no greater honor than being the head coach of the Indian team. Representing 140 crore Indians is a huge responsibility." This indicates that Gambhir is ready to take on the role.

Several veteran cricketers were also considered for the position, but many declined the responsibility. Australian legends Ricky Ponting and Justin Langer, along with Sri Lankan cricketer Kumar Sangakkara, all turned down the offer. This led to some tension between the BCCI and the Indian team. With Rahul Dravid's tenure as head coach ending after the T20 World Cup, Gambhir is likely to take over from July 1.
