Controversy at Asaduddin Owaisi's Residence

A tense situation unfolded at the residence of Hyderabad MP and AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi in Delhi. On Thursday, unknown individuals plastered pro-Israel posters and smeared black ink on the nameplate at his home. This incident followed Owaisi's "Jai Palestine" slogan in the Lok Sabha a couple of days earlier.

On Thursday night, around 9 PM, five unidentified individuals arrived at Owaisi's residence at 34 Ashoka Road, Central Delhi. They pasted posters on the gates and walls, with messages such as "Bharat Mata Ki Jai," "I Stand With Israel," "Jai Shri Ram," and "Suspend Owaisi." They also vandalized the nameplate with black ink. A video of the incident has gone viral on social media.

Responding swiftly, the police removed the posters and promised to identify and take legal action against the culprits. Owaisi took to Twitter to condemn the act, highlighting the frequent attacks on his residence and criticizing the Delhi Police for their inability to prevent such incidents. He tagged Home Minister Amit Shah, accusing him of overseeing the environment in which these acts occur.

In the viral video, one of the unidentified individuals calls for stringent action against MPs and MLAs who refuse to say "Bharat Mata Ki Jai," urging others to follow their example and take similar actions.
