Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga is a well-known name in the Pan India film industry. Despite having made only a few films, he has created a sensation at the box office. His film "Arjun Reddy," starring Vijay Deverakonda, was a huge hit in Telugu states. Sandeep remade this film in Hindi as "Kabir Singh," starring Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani, which earned around ₹379 crores.
Bollywood actor Adil Hussain played a key role in "Kabir Singh." However, in a recent interview, Adil expressed regret about his involvement in the film, feeling guilty and ashamed after its release. His comments went viral, prompting a response from Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
Adil reacted to Sandeep's comments in a new interview, questioning Sandeep's fame and making a comparison to renowned director Ang Lee. He said, "Does Sandeep think he is more famous than Ang Lee? If he thinks that, I don't know what to say. It's unfortunate. His films have made a lot of money at the box office, maybe that's why he thinks so. I don't know exactly how much Kabir Singh made, but Ang Lee's 'Life of Pi' earned over ₹5000 crores. I don't think Sandeep can achieve that. He should think before he speaks."
Adil also mentioned that he hasn't watched Sandeep's latest film, "Animal." When asked if he would act in it if given the chance, Adil said, "Even if offered ₹100 to ₹200 crores, I wouldn't act in 'Animal.' I will never act in such films. And there's no need to take Sandeep's comments about me seriously, because they don't make any sense." Adil played a significant role in the 2012 film "Life of Pi."
