The YSR Congress Party has accused the Andhra Pradesh state government of failing to maintain law and order, leading to a chaotic situation. Former Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy, along with his party members, staged a protest at Jantar Mantar in Delhi, raising their voices against the state government's inefficiency. The protest saw participation from MLAs, MLCs, MPs, and other key leaders of the party. They also organized a photo and video exhibition showcasing recent violent incidents in Andhra Pradesh.
YS Jagan demanded a thorough investigation by investigative agencies into the violent incidents occurring in the state. He stated that today's protest aimed to bring national attention to the attacks and violence happening in Andhra Pradesh. Jagan pointed out that 36 murders had taken place in the last 50 days, questioning the very existence of democracy in the state. He called for everyone to unite in protecting democracy and demanded the imposition of President's Rule in Andhra Pradesh. Jagan and his party plan to meet leaders of various national parties to explain the situation and seek their support.
