AP New Minister Comments Cinema and Tourism Policies Revealed 🎬🗺️

In Andhra Pradesh, the new government has taken office with Janasena leader and Nidadavolu MLA Kandula Durgesh assuming the role of Cinematography and Tourism Minister. Durgesh made significant comments regarding restrictions on the cinema industry, the Red Book of officials' names, legal actions, and tourism development in AP.

Under the previous government, there were numerous complaints about restrictions on the cinema industry, particularly on benefit shows and ticket prices. The YS Jagan administration was criticized for being stringent, with industry insiders lamenting the inability to increase ticket prices. However, Minister Kandula Durgesh assured that there will be no such restrictions moving forward. He emphasized that the government will work towards the development of the cinema industry and ensure it thrives without undue limitations.

Durgesh also highlighted plans to transform Andhra Pradesh into a tourism hub. He pointed out the state's potential due to its coastal region and vowed to focus on tourism development.

Addressing concerns about possible vindictive actions, Durgesh reiterated that their focus will be on delivering good governance. He clarified that while there will be no vendetta politics, the law will take its course against those who err. The "Red Book" initiated by Lokesh will be maintained, ensuring accountability and transparency.

Durgesh promised special attention to the development of Nidadavolu, which elected him, and Pithapuram, where Pawan Kalyan contested. He criticized the previous administration for stagnation in development due to a lack of active engagement.

Responding to the YSRCP’s claims of EVM tampering after the recent election results, Durgesh dismissed these allegations as baseless. He stated that their victory was due to their effective strategies, not EVM manipulation, and criticized Jagan’s comments on EVMs as undermining democracy.
