The Ambush! Robot Trap

It's a Trap... Clap is an optional mission in Claptrap's New Robot Revolution from the Claptrap Rescue series. It becomes available only after Operation Trap Claptrap Trap, Phase One and runs in the Tartarus Station location.

In Tartarus Station, near the entrance to the Dividing Faults, there is a large arrow sign pointing over the railing. The Claptrap is on the ground roughly where the arrow points. Access the claptrap, follow the mission marker up the stairs to the Repair Kit located nearby, return to the claptrap, and spring the trap.

The enclosure gate shuts when the trap is sprung, locking characters in with the claptrap. The "rescued" claptrap will make a brief monologue before more claptraps appear on the nearby cliff to the East/Southeast, jumping down to join in the attack.

There is a cage on the left side of the screen, and an octopus-like alien walking toward it from the right. The player must press the button with good timing to drop the bars on the cage and trap the alien. The player may drop the bars on the alien as well. Depending on where they hit the alien, it will either be pushed inside or pushed out.

you must be kidding. i have been anticipating this trap for ages, like 2 weeks, and i failed it. i have another master seal, but its another 60k, and another blueprints somewhere. i am only 24% GM,but i do have gingerbread house surprise.

you all suck.. i failed at 52% Grandmaster and have been waiting for this trap for literally two months after i saw one of my friends had it. now i cant find blueprints again so im hunting in the pinnacle chamber like an idiot waiting for a hapless mouse to drop it..

Once you defeat the opponents enter Rempart's office. He will not want to release Jackson until he has checked the condition of BrocaBridge. When he does, it will turn out to be a trick of Wrench, who gave you a bomb that looks like BrocaBridge. An explosion will occur that will knock out Rempart and his robots, and let Aiden and Jackson run outside.

Defeated, I ventured to the tutorial videos. The main damage dealers were the traps. Duh! At that point in time, my only reference point was the game Bomberman, a favorite of my earliest years as a gamer. In short, Trap Runner forces two characters to skulk around a stage, plant a variety of lethal traps at different locations, and try to funnel their opponent into these areas. The opponent also plants their own devices and deactivates those laid by the player.

The more we played, the deeper we delved into the game's box of tricks. Power-ups, which popped up at certain locations, could give a player an advantage like extra speed, but could also serve as a lure. You knew your opponent may want to claim the powerup for themselves, offering a tantalizing opportunity for a trap ambush. Stages themselves also had hazards, such as explosive boxes. A time limit added extra urgency to these risk/reward calculations.

The story mode comprises challenges and matches against AI opponents. Its narrative, with its still images and text that serve as cut scenes, is quite bizarre. A robot, spy, Green Beret, ninja, mutant, and cop all have different motivations for their decision to oppose Gain, a secret organization. To make three sub-bosses playable, one needs to complete the story a couple of times.

In Skylanders: Battlecast, his powers also include electrical arcs that attack along with him, summoning virtual objects to simulate an enemy's power and summon a Tech trap containing Dr. Krankcase, thus allowing the mad doctor to attack enemies for as many ranks they have. His Special Ability is Overclock, increasing his power temporarily, and his signature Gear is the Galvanic Armor, increasing power and reducing incoming damage should the owner not attack.

Gearshift is a tall, humanoid robot with white metal plating and golden coils making up her arms, neck, and abdomen. Her shoulders are topped by a small white gear and her hands are connected by a sleeve-like collar. Her head consists of a circular bolt on each side; blue eyes with red, glowing pupils; and the forehead is embedded with the symbol of the Tech element. Her weapon of choice is a wide Traptanium Gear, with four pegs on each side and two handlebars for Gearshift to handle it. Like all Trap Masters, she has their signature symbol, inside the gear attached to her back.

Gearshift was created on the Tech island of Metallana by King Mercurus, who considered the young robot to be his own daughter. But rather than performing royal duties, Gearshift preferred to spend her time in the oily depths of the kingdom among its workers, secretly tending to the huge subterranean machines. When her father discovered this, he was furious - but then a squadron of Undead Stormriders suddenly attacked. Learning that these marauders wanted to capture her father, Gearshift used her knowledge of the labyrinth below to hide him. Seizing the emblem of her people - The Great Gear - she used it to fight the Stormriders, inspiring the workers to rise up. Together, they drove the Stormriders out of Metallana and saved the kingdom. For this, Gearshift was made part of the Trap Team, using her new awesome Traptanium-forged gear to help defend Skylands.

These sorts of traps do exist in real life (their official name is Foothold traps), and date back to the 1600s. However, they are restricted or banned in many areas of the world today and the modern-day versions tend to not use the steel saw-tooth design seen in most fictional depictions, due to concerns about both animal cruelty and potential injuries to any humans who inadvertently wander into the trap. Instead, rubber or offset ridges are used so that an animal is simply trapped rather than injured.

Blaster-Tron is a futuristic robot who is one of the Light trappable villains in Skylanders: Trap Team. He later returns as a Sensei of the Knight Battle Class in Skylanders: Imaginators.

As the Skylanders were fighting through The Future of Skylands, Blaster-Tron attacked them with the help of four Brawlruses after they smashed a cluster of Traptanium. He was eventually shut down and trapped.

Blaster-Tron isn't just state-of-the-art technology, he literally is from the future. When the Skylanders traveled forward in time to stop Wolfgang, they ended up bringing back the renegade robot with hopes that they could learn from his advanced circuitry. Eon immediately noticed that he had an actual "Good/Evil" switch that had been set to Evil. After flipping it to Good, Blaster-Tron was completely transformed. Besides going from bad robot to good robot, he ditched his blaster gun in exchange for a laser sword. No one knew exactly why, but as long as he was helping out the cause of justice, the Skylanders were happy. As a bonus, Master Eon noticed that his skill with the blade was second to none, and so he made Blaster-Tron a Sensei for the Knight Class, where he now gives 110% to training his students - which is technically possible because in the future, we figure out how to give more than 100%.
